Suprainfinit presents a solo booth by Øleg&Kaśka at LISTE Basel

We are thrilled to participate at LISTE Art Fair Basel witha solo presentation by the up-and-coming artist duo Øleg&Kaśka.

‍‍Øleg&Kaśka graduated from the MFA programme of the University of Fine Arts Poznań, Poland in 2020. Based in Warsaw, the duo creates multilayered installations, working with different mediums such as painting, sculpture, video or fragrance to create immersive environments in which the audience may dwell and reflect. They challenge the classic understanding of the artist as an individual by the figure of the quasi-artist, androgynous Øleg&Kaśka.

Their new series of works continues the artist’s duo interest in Eastern European mythology and pop culture by exploring the role of fantasy in the current context of socio-economic and environmental crisis. Grounded in speculative strategies by highlighting connections between pasts and presents, myth and reality, queerness and alchemy, Oleg&Kaska’s works always surprise through their fresh and archaic visual language.
