Announcing Representation: Paulo Wirz Joins the Gallery

We are thrilled to announce the representation of Brazilian-Swiss artist Paulo Wirz, highlighting three of his current projects in Switzerland — including his exhibition at Kunsthalle Arbon, his participation in the Swiss Art Awards, and the presentation at Material in Zurich, during the fair.

Over the years, Wirz developed a singular visual grammar defined by references to the confinement of everyday living and in-habitation. His thematic choices unveil a personal disbelief in the permanence of material existence, prompting explorations into the transient nature of life and the rituals surrounding death. By combining durable materials like glass and stone with organic, ephemeral elements such as wax and plants, Wirz creates installations that evoke a sense of temporality and decay.
