Delighted to announce our participation in this year's LISTE Art Fair in Basel, Switzerland. Our booth will show new and existing works by Swedish artist Klara Zetterholm and Albanian artist Bora Baboçi.

Klara Zetterholm (b. 1991 in Stockholm) lives and works in Stockholm. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in Stockholm in 2022 and her MFA exhibition was awarded a grant from the Bonnier Foundation. Klara works in a broad field of sculpture, involving painting, installation, and assemblage. Her latest works include bas-reliefs, mostly engaging in faking and forging materials and antiqueness through patina, motifs, and faux stone or wood painting. With a background in scenography and decor painting, the artist employs methods used in stage and set design in order to create false narratives, mainly of archeology and natural history. Drawn to ideas on non-linear time, mythological figures and science fiction, her works convey a sense of uncanniness and reflections on binaries such as ultramodern and prehistoric, prosperous and apocalyptic.

Her recent exhibitions include the MFA spring show at Kungl. Konsthögskolan (2022), Inside /Outside at Coulisse gallery (2022), CREAM (2022), Downtown Issues at Issues gallery (2021), and Survival of the fittest at Accelerator (2020). Upcoming shows in 2023 include a solo show at Thomassen gallery in Gothenburg and a temporary exhibition at Odenplan’s subway station in association with Kulturförvaltingen.

Bora Baboçi (1988) was born and lives in Tirana, Albania. She studied architectural design and theory at the University of Toronto, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, and has a master’s degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. After some years of work experience in architecture, since 2015 she has been a researcher and academic assistant at the Technischen Universität in Berlin. Since 2017 she has developed an independent practice of diffusing her spatial research with visual and performative arts. Her practice entails drawing, sculpture, performance and photography, and her research is drawn to the connection between landscape and constructive elements, spatial and affective encounters, and embodied memory through time and space.

She took part in residencies such as: Salzburger Kunstverein, Salzburg, Austria (2022); Il Lazzaretto, Milan, Italy (2021); EVA International Biennal’s residency, Limerick, Ireland (2019); Art House School, Shkoder, Albania (2017); Centrum fur Kunst und Urbanistik, Berlin, Germany (2017). Solo and group exhibitions include: Manifesta14, It Matters What Words World Worlds, Prishtina (2022); Autostrada Biennale, What If A Journey, Prizren, Kosovo (2021); Mediterranea 19 Biennal BCJEM School of Waters, San Marino, Italy (2021); NEXT Balkan A for Unapologetic, Sofia, Bulgaria (2021); National Gallery of Albania Ambitions, Tirana, Albanian (2021); EVA International Biennal 39th, The Golden Vale, Limerick, Ireland (2020); MULA Museo di Latronico Del Tempo Fossile, Italy (2019); Bazament Space, Tirana, Albania (2019); Transmediale/CTM, Rituals Berlin, Germany (2017).
